Ranbir Kapoor attended a customary pooja hosted by Yash Raj Films (YRF), before he began the shooting of his next with the production house. Ranbir will be seen in ‘Shamshera’, produced by YRF and directed by Karan Malhotra. The production house follows a tradition to perform a pooja with the cast and crew before starting any project and the lead pair of ‘Shamshera’ – Ranbir and Vaani Kapoor – attended the ritual. Sanjay Dutt is also a part of the fantasy action adventure. However, the actor couldn’t make it due to other commitments.

Ranbir Kapoor, who played Sanjay Dutt in his biopic ‘Sanju’, will share the frame for the first time with the ‘Vaastav’ actor in ‘Shamshera’. The team of ‘Shamshera’ will begin tomorrow at a Mumbai studio and promises some adrenaline pumping action, and Ranbir in a never-seen-before warrior avatar. The film is scheduled to release on July 31, 2020. Before ‘Shamshera’, Ranbir was busy shooting for his super-hero drama ‘Brahmastra’ with Alia Bhatt and director Ayan Mukerji. The team will be releasing the first part of this trilogy in December 2019.
