After their marriage, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone hosted a second grand reception last night, looking regal in ivory and gold ensembles. But before Ranveer got into the Rohit Bal creation for his reception in Mumbai, the actor had wriggled out some time for a dubbing session of Rohit Shetty-directed upcoming Bollywood film ‘Simmba’. The actor attended a dubbing session with co-star Sonu Sood at a studio in Andheri, before he geared up for a night of celebration post wedding. Buzz suggests that Ranveer has decided to stall his honeymoon till the release of ‘Simmba’, which will hit the screens on December 28. Soon after the newlyweds’ last reception, which will be held on December 1, Ranveer will plunge into promotions for his cop drama ‘Simmba’.
Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone tied the knot in a much secretive ceremony at Lake Como in Italy on November 14 and since then have been busy playing the host. The couple returned to India and hosted their first reception in Deepika’s hometown Bengaluru, followed by a dazzling party. After a second reception in Mumbai yesterday, Ranveer and Deepika will host yet another do for their Bollywood friends on December 1. All the glamour of Bollywood will sashay down the carpet at a suburban five-star hotel in Mumbai as the celebs and cinema world will descend on earth to wish the ‘Bajirao Mastani’ couple, Ranveer and Deepika.
Deepika and Ranveer will currently be put up at the former’s plush flat in Prabhadevi as they scout for locations for a palatial home in suburban Mumbai, Bandra and Juhu being in mind. The newlywed couple is apparently planning to purchase a bungalow in the city but hasn’t found one that will suit their taste. Till then, Ranveer and Deepika will be South Mumbai residents.
