‘Dabangg 3’ is a much awaited sequel on Salman Khan’s long list of Bollywood films and the celebrity actor recently confirmed that younger brother Arbaaz Khan will not be directing the third film in the franchise. “Now we are going to start ‘Dabangg 3’. So he (Arbaaz) told me, ‘Very good, but I am not going to direct it. I am only producing it’. So I said, ‘Very good, we will find a good director for that’,” said Salman jokingly. Speculations were rife that Prabhu Dheva will direct Salman Khan’s cop drama, however Salman has someone else in mind. He shared, “Since Arbaaz doesn’t want to direct ‘Dabangg 3’, I feel Sohail is a better director, because he is more patient. Also with Sohail, you can improvise. But in a similar situation, Arbaaz gets panicked and his blood pressure starts to fluctuate.”
‘Dabangg 3’ has been waiting in the wings since a long time now. While Arbaaz was patient for Bhai’s dates, Salman went on a signing spree for other films, thus delaying the third one in the popular ‘Dabangg’ franchise. Arbaaz Khan and Malaika Arora have been the producers, while Arbaaz has also featured in the first two parts. He was also credited as the director for ‘Dabangg 2’.
