TV actor Parth Samthaan has been booked for molestation, after a 20-year-old aspiring model filed a complaint against him at the Bangur Nagar Police Station in Goregaon, Mumbai. The ‘MTV Webbed’ and ‘Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan’ actor Parth Samthaan has been booked under section 8 and 12 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences act (POCSO), as the complaint reportedly stated that Samthaan molested the model four years ago, when she was 16 years old. The girl, whose identity has been concealed, stated in her FIR, “After returning from a party in an alcoholic state, Parth misbehaved with me. After this, I stopped all contacts with him for some time. Since he apologised later and as we have been friends for years, I decided to forgive him for his behaviour. But soon after this, I started getting insulting and shameful calls from boys who would want favours from me.” While no arrest has been made, Parth Samthaan has already applied for an anticipatory bail at the Dindoshi Court.
