Kapil Sharma stirred up a storm after he tweeted about corruption in the BMC. Kapil alleged that an official from the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) had demanded a bribe of Rs 5 Lakh. The popular comedian is now in a soup with the BMC filing an FIR against him for unauthorised alterations at his ninth floor Oshiwara apartment. Troubles for Kapil Sharma don’t end here as the Mangrove Protection Cell and the state Revenue Department have found out that Kapil Sharma’s bungalow, located in Versova, had made illegal extensions and destroyed mangroves. A notice could be issued to the TV celebrity in this regard. In the meantime, some political parties are demanding the small screen star to reveal the name of the corrupt official. As legal tangle tightens for Kapil Sharma, he may have the company of another Bollywood star. Apparently, Irrfan Khan too has been named for illegal changes he made to his flat as he owns one in the same high rise as Kapil Sharma.
