Sony and Shashi-Sumeet production are set to take the audiences back to the glorious era of the 90s with their show ‘Yeh Un Dino Ki Baat Hai’, which will premiere today at 10:30 pm. Set against the backdrop of Ahmedabad, ‘Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai’ is a coming of age love story of Naina – a stoic, witty and fearless girl (played by Ashi Singh) and Sameer – a large hearted, flamboyant and obstinate boy (played by Randeep Rai). In a time, untouched by smart phones, it’s an exploration of teenage love, with all its innocence, inexperience and anxieties.
The show boasts of a talented ensemble cast which includes Somendra Solanki, Vaishnavi Macdonald, Samir Khakhar, Ehsaan Qureshi, Sanjay Batra amongst others. Noted music director Anu Malik has composed the music for the title track of the series and Kumar Sanu and Sadhana Sargam, the stalwart singers from the 90’s have lent their melodic voices for the same.
