Kareena Kapoor Khan is in her second trimester of pregnancy. The celebrity actress states that she is constantly being questioned about the gender of her child. “Wherever I go these days, there is only one question asked, which is quite intrusive. But still, Saif (Ali Khan) and I are asked, ‘Is it a boy or a girl? Have you found out?’ And I am like, what difference does it make? I am a girl child and would love to have a girl. I have probably done more for my parents and family than a son would,” says Kareena Kapoor Khan, talking about her wish to have a baby girl.
Kareena Kapoor Khan has continued to work, shooting for advertisements and attending events even as the delivery time nears. Kareena adds, “We are still in a nation where we are asked, ‘You are getting married, so are you still going to work? You are pregnant, so are you still going to work?’ These questions upset me,” perhaps hinting it’s time to move forward from these things.
The soon-to-be-mother, Kareena Kapoor is set to welcome her first child with Saif Ali Khan in December this year. Rumours are rife that Kareena’s baby’s birth may coincide either with her mother-in-law Sharmila Tagore’s birthday, which is on December 8 or with her granddad, the late Raj Kapoor, who was born on December 14.
