Bollywood veteran Kader Khan is alive and is living life to the fullest at his home in Mumbai. While the entire Bollywood film industry along with his TV colleagues wish well for this superfine human being, Celebs & Cinema conjoins and brings to you some lesser known facts and trivia about the Bollywood actor-writer. Kader Khan’s debut film was ‘Daag’ in 1973.

Kader Khan Trivia:
Kader Khan is born in Kabul, Afghanistan to father Abdul Rehman Khan and mother Iqbal Begum. Now you know why he delivered dialogues, which are otherwise difficult for a layman, so impeccably.

While his father was from Kandahar, mother Iqbal hailed from Pishin, British India which is a province Balochistan in Pakistan.

Kader Khan graduated from Ismail Yusuf College and later did Master’s Diploma in Engineering (MIE) from Institution of Engineers (India). The actor holds the degree of Civil Engineer. He later jumped into Bollywood.

The actor taught the subject of Civil Engineering at the MH Saboo Siddik College of Engineering in Byculla, Mumbai between 1970 and 1975.

Besides being an actor, Kader Khan is a successful script and dialogue writer and even a director. He has written dialogues for many Govinda films such as ‘Coolie No 1’, ‘Hero No 1’ and ‘Aunty No 1’ amongst others.

Kader Khan is nominated for coveted Filmfare Awards nine times in the Best Comedian category apart from bagging the honour four times, last one being in 2004.
