Randeep Hooda is being showered with praise from all sides for his performance in ‘Sarbjit’. While this Bollywood movie continues to have a mediocre time at the box office, Randeep has won hearts with his portrayal of the title character Sarabjit Singh. He says, “It was important to tell people what happened with Sarabjit inside the jail. While people are appreciating the film, it is difficult to even imagine what that person must have gone through in 23 years.” The actor goes on to praise the role of Sarabjit’s sister Dalbir Kaur, who fought relentlessly to free her brother. “I feel honoured to have got to know his sister Dalbir Kaur. She does not want anyone’s pity. She is the real life hero,” concludes Randeep Hooda.
