Shah Rukh Khan has died in a private jet crash, or so claimed a death hoax on a European news network, El Pais TV. The ‘breaking news’ story stated that Shah Rukh Khan was killed in a private jet crash caused by turbulent weather. Shah Rukh Khan’s team had a field day denying the rumours about the celebrity actor’s death. Forget about leaving for the heavenly abode, the 51-year-old actor is rather hale and hearty and at his residence, Mannat in Bandra, Mumbai. Shah Rukh Khan has been shooting for Aanand L Rai’s dwarf drama at a set in Film City, Mumbai.

This is not the first time that a Bollywood celeb and cinema world’s superstar like Shah Rukh Khan has been a victim of a death hoax. Recently, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was killed by rumours which suggested that the Bachchan ‘bahu’ had committed suicide. Shashi Kapoor, Kadar Khan, Dilip Kumar and Farida Jalal are a few more celebs and cinema stars that are constantly killed by the Internet. TV’s popular ‘bahu’, Shweta Tiwari was party to death rumours and her husband Abhinav Kohli had to come out in the open to falsify the reports. Shah Rukh Khan is dead is just another such rumour.
