Deepika Padukone has collaborated with Sanjay Leela Bhansali for a third time, after two hit Bollywood films, ‘Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela’ and ‘Bajirao Mastani’. ‘Padmavati’ is the celebs’ and cinema stars’ third outing together. Speaking about shooting for another period drama, ‘Padmavati’, Deepika comments, “There are advantages and challenges to work with the same director for a third time. I think Sanjay Leela Bhansali brings out the best in me as an actress and there is no better creative experience. The way he pushes you and challenges you, drives me accept his films. But it also gets difficult because when you work with someone for so long, you want to bring something new to the table all the time, and that is the challenging aspect for the actor as well as the director.” Deepika Padukone will portray the titular role of queen Padmavati, aka Rani Padmini, supported by Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor, in ‘Padmavati’.
