Sanjay Leela Bhansali is set to take his magnum opus ‘Padmavati’ to Rajasthan for an extensive shoot there. For the first time ever, celebs and cinema stars Shahid Kapoor, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh will shoot together on realistic locales like Amer and Jaigarh forts in Rajasthan for ‘Padmavati’. Deepika recently returned from the promotions of her Hollywood debut ‘xXx: Return of Xander Cage’ and will plunge straight into the shooting for the title role and royal character of the queen. ‘Padmavati’ is based on Alauddin Khilji’s love for Rani Padmavati, aka queen Padmini, and how her husband Raja Rawal Ratan Singh goes to war with Alauddin. Buzz is that, that an elaborate war sequence will be canned in Raisar village in Rajasthan, which forms one of the most important parts of the Bollywood film. Filled with celebs and cinema stars, Sanjay Leela Bhansali is planning to release ‘Padmavati’ on November 17 this year.
