Akshay Kumar released the trailer of his upcoming Bollywood film, ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’, on various social networking websites and received a huge positive response. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi too praised Akshay Kumar and his team’s efforts. “Good effort to further the message of cleanliness. 125 crore Indians have to continue working together to create a Swachh Bharat,” the Prime Minister replied to Akshay Kumar, who had shared the trailer with him. Returning the gesture, Akshay stated, “Thank you so much, honourable sir. Hope we succeed in changing the mindsets and truly making a difference.” ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’ is inspired from true events and highlights the issue of sanitation and open defecation in India, giving out a social message about PM’s Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. Directed by Shree Narayan Singh, ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’ will hit the screens on August 11.
