Kangana Ranaut expressed her support to the Swachh Bharat initiative and even launched a short film ‘Don’t Let Her Go’. While trying to maintain cleanliness in the country, Kangana Ranaut was also asked about filtering the dirt from Bollywood. Kangana immediately sprung to action to say, “Bollywood is also a part of our society. There are localities which are very clean across the country and there are a few places, however posh they may be, there is still a lot of trash there. Similarly in Bollywood too there are some very nice people and then there are people who are not so nice.” We wonder if Kangana was hinting to her ugly battle with Bollywood hunk Hrithik Roshan.

While now she champions the cause for cleanliness, Kangana Ranaut adds that she was indeed a laidback girl in her childhood days. “As a child, I was very lazy and would hate to have bath. Whenever my turn would come to go for a bath, I would be very happy that someone else would take my turn as I lived in a joint family. I became quite a slob and nothing good happened to me in that time. But when my interests changed and when I studied Vedanta and followed Yoga, the first thing I learnt was to uplift myself. I started with external cleanliness,” reminisces the actress. Kangana Ranaut dons the avatar of Hindu goddess Laxmi in the short film to promote cleanliness whereas Amitabh Bachchan has done the voice over for the same.
