The Real Sultan of Bollywood Box Office

‘Sultan’ garners more than Rs 360 crore at the Bollywood Box Office in the first six days

As expected and projected earlier by almost every trade pundit and media mogul, ‘Sultan’ has shattered almost all Box Office records of most of the Bollywood movies so far. ‘Sultan’, by the end of its 6-day collection, stands at more than a whopping Rs 360 crore gross in the film’s domestic as well as international market. While in India ‘Sultan’ fetched a little over Rs 270 crore, abroad the movie managed to collect more than Rs 90 crore at the international Box Office.

Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma starrer ‘Sultan’, produced by Yash Raj Films, was released on around 5,100 screens worldwide and started fetching big money much before its release, as Celebs & Cinema reported in its earlier story. The first day itself saw the ‘Sultan’ Box Office collection soaring over Rs 40 crore in domestic and foreign markets. The Eid release also favoured the first weekend collection of ‘Sultan’ and the movie touched almost Rs 200 crore at the Bollywood Box Office in India.
