Taapsee Pannu: Unfair to ask for equal pay as male actors!

Taapsee Pannu has been a part of two impressive female oriented films, ‘Pink’ and ‘Naam Shabana’. However, this Bollywood actress feels it is not right to demand equivalent remuneration as the male actors in the entertainment industry. While many celebs and cinema stars are speaking against this inequality and sticking their neck out, here’s Taapsee Pannu who opines, “It is kind of unfair to ask for an equal pay when you are not getting an equal amount of opening collections. The day the audience walks in to see a female protagonist film, and gives the same amount of bumper opening, of Rs 10 – 15 crore, that day I will say that we need to be paid equally. But right now it is unfair to the producers to give us an equal amount of money, no matter how good the film is!” On the professional front, Taapsee will be seen in ‘Judwaa 2’ alongside Varun Dhawan.
