Shraddha Kapoor starts prepping for biopic

Shraddha Kapoor is all set to kick-start the preparations of her next biopic ‘Saina’, which is based on the Indian badminton ace Saina Nehwal. The actress will train daily at a world class badminton facility in suburban Mumbai, reportedly under the guidance of a senior coach from Prakash Padukone’s academy. Prakash is Deepika Padukone’s father.

Shraddha Kapoor will practice badminton for a couple of months after which the shoot for the Saina Nehwal biopic will begin. All excited to portray the youth icon on the silver screen, Shraddha Kapoor will be directed in this biopic by Amol Gupte whose previous work includes ‘Stanley Ka Dabba’.

Apart from this sports biopic, Shraddha will also be seen in a criminal avatar as she plays Haseena Parkar in the latter’s biopic, ‘Haseena: The Queen of Mumbai’. The actress will put on a fierce avatar to play the bold sister of glorious gangster from Mumbai, Dawood Ibrahim.
