Shah Rukh Khan has recently returned from the shooting of ‘The Ring’ and has buried himself in various events in the city. The Bollywood star supported Bandra’s Band Stand Beautification project in Mumbai. SRK says that he doesn’t mind performing at Bandstand, bringing along his once arch rival Salman Khan, “I am a Bandra resident and I would like to offer some kind of sustainable beauty that can be kept here. I have been told that once the entire process is complete, we can even perform here every month. I will tell Salman (Khan) also to perform here.” Shah Rukh even compares the area to his abode. SRK, who stays in the vicinity, further adds, “I come here at night at 2-2:30 with my kids and roam around the place. It is our duty to keep it sustained, beautiful and pretty. It is an extension of our home.”
