Shah Rukh Khan will produce a cop film for the streaming giant Netflix, to be directed by Atul Sabharwal

Shah Rukh Khan will soon produce high-on-drama film for the popular streaming portal Netflix. Buzz suggests that this project will be set in 1983, showcasing a cop who trains a team of officers to become encounter specialists. This cop drama will be helmed by Atul Sabharwal, while the makers are on the lookout for a fresh face to be cast as lead. Apart from this cop-drama movie, Shah Rukh Khan’s production house Red Chillies Entertainment has also announced a web-show based on political thriller novel ‘The Bard of Blood’, which is in the pipeline. Shah Rukh’s another production venture, Bollywood film ‘Badla’, starring Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu, is scheduled to hit the screens next week.
