Kabir Khan’s love for cross-border and war dramas is a known fact. Keeping in tune with that, once done with ‘Tubelight’, the filmmaker plans to explore the same genre. As Internet and bandwidth become available in India more easily and freely, and the speed increases, web series could be the way ahead. Tapping onto these resources, Kabir Khan will be working on a web series which will be set against the backdrop of World War II. Buzz is that this web series will have 10 episodes, all directed and produced by the ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ filmmaker Kabir Khan. It will be extensively shot abroad and include the contribution of Subhash Chandra Bose’s Indian National Army as well. While the cast and title are still not decided on, a massive budget has been set aside for the Kabir Khan directed web series.
