Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma’s foot-tapping number ‘Radha’ from their upcoming movie ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’ is going to be used for a unique publicity strategy. Sony Music, is leaving no stone un-turned to ensure that the song from ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’ is heard globally and makes it to the leading charts.
As part of a unique marketing strategy, the label has assigned singers to sing ‘Radha’ in different languages including Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Gujarati and even Arabic! Commenting on this strategy, Sanujeet Bhujabal, Marketing Director – Sony Music India said, “‘Radha’ has an instant like-ability to it therefore we decided to further leverage the fan love by making it accessible in multiple languages so that it connects with everyone. These versions will be released from July 20th onwards across all digital platforms.” The sizzling chemistry of Harry and Sejal in the song has garnered over 30 million views across digital platforms.
