Salman Khan’s ‘Tubelight’ and Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Jagga Jasoos’ failed miserably at the Box Office, and Bollywood is now in dire need of a hit. While Salman had to compensate distributors, Ranbir and Katrina Kaif’s romantic musical ‘Jaggas Jasoos’ failed to make any noise at the ticket windows. The film collected Rs 41.75 crore in six days, struggling to reach even the Rs 50-crore mark. This month, ‘Munna Michael’ and ‘Mubarakan’ are yet to hit the screens, but only time will tell if these two films are money spinners or just another addition to the line of flops! However, August looks promising with two biggies lined up. Akshay Kumar’s ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’ and Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma’s ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’ will hit the screens in the coming month, and have raised everyone’s hopes, as Bollywood is now desperately looking for a hit.
