Tapu aka Tipendra Jethalal Gada of ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ fame, played by popular child actor Bhavya Gandhi, decided to quit the TV show, ending the eight-year-long association. All of 19, Bhavya Gandhi hit the headlines with his decision to quit the show stating “there was no growth in my character”, and is now venturing into films. However, a report on dnaindia.com quoted Asit Modi, the producer of ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’, who said that Bhavya Gandhi was asked to change his technique to suit that of a grown-up college boy.
