Recently when Deepika was asked about Ranveer Singh’s reaction on her proximity with ex-flame and co-star Ranbir Kapoor, she was quoted referring to Ranveer as her boyfriend. And when Ranveer Singh was told about this update, the actor tried his best to play safe. “I am not aware of this, I will have to cross check and get back,” he said.
Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have never accepted their relationship publicly, but their closeness is evident on the silver screen and off it as well. At one of the award functions recently, Ranveer Singh touched Deepika’s father Prakash Padukone’s feet to seek his blessings, after winning the best actor award. After this gestures, tongues have started wagging that some good news is soon expected from this couple.
On the professional front, Deepika is gearing up, albeit a bit nervously, for her Hollywood debut with Vin Diesel’s ‘xXx: The Return of Xander Cage’. Ranveer Singh too will begin shooting for Aditya Chopra directed ‘Befikre’. “Vaani and I have just started the prep for ‘Befikre’ and it is going on really well. I am looking forward to shooting with her now,” updates Ranveer.
