Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput have become proud parents as they welcomed a baby girl today. Expecting mother Mira was in her third trimester and was due to give birth in September this year. Rather, Mira has delivered the baby prematurely. Mira Rajput was hospitalised yesterday and the paparazzi spotted celebs and cinema world’s stars and her worried in-laws, Supriya Pathak and Pankaj Kapur, rushing to the hospital to be with the soon-to-be mother. Shahid Kapoor’s parents had visited pregnant Mira Rajput at their Juhu residence just yesterday and she was later admitted to the Hinduja Hospital in Khar, state reports. Mira delivered the baby girl after a few hours. Congratulatory messages poured in from many celebs and cinema stars.
Now a proud father, Shahid Kapoor was on paternity leave to be with his “baby wife” Mira Rajput through her pregnancy, and till the time she delivered the baby girl. During her pregnancy days, Mira Rajput was hospitalised a couple of times, but it looks like the mother and the baby are in the best of health after delivery. Just a few days ago, daddy Shahid Kapoor had shared on Instagram, a lovely picture of himself lying on Mira’s baby bump.
Despite an age gap of 13 years, proud parents to a baby girl, Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput come across as a much-in-love couple, made for each other. Shahid and Mira’s wedding took place in July 2015 in the presence of close family and friends in Delhi. Hardly a year into marriage for this celebrity couple and Mira Rajput was expecting her first child with the ‘Haider’ actor. More celebrations are expected from father Shahid Kapoor as newbie mother Mira Rajput will complete 22 years on September 7.
