Estranged celebrity couple Karisma Kapoor and Sunjay Kapur’s divorce proceedings have concluded to an amicable settlement. Bollywood actress Karisma Kapoor and Delhi based businessman Sunjay Kapur signed the divorce papers by mutual consent, which was submitted to the Supreme Court.
According to the proceedings, the custody of their kids Samaira and Kiaan will remain with Karisma Kapoor while Sunjay Kapur gets adequate rights to visit them during festive vacations and holidays. The divorce suit, which was filed by Sunjay, will be converted into a divorce plea by mutual consent and it will be heard on June 30, 2016. One of the terms of settlement state that Sunjay will have to transfer the rights of his Mumbai home to Karisma Kapoor.
A couple of months ago, Karisma Kapoor and Sunjay Kapur indulged in a lot of mud-slinging in public. Sunjay had alleged that Lolo married him for the money. The actress had reportedly filed a dowry case against Sunjay and his mother Rani, also claiming that they mentally harassed her.
After washing their dirty linen in public, following the decision of divorce by mutual consent now, all the cases filed during the matrimonial discord between Karisma Kapoor and Sunjay Kapoor have apparently been withdrawn.
