Several Bollywood films have been banned in Pakistan and the most recent one being Sonam Kapoor starrer ‘Neerja’. Actor from across the border, Fawad Khan reasons that despite all the bans, the audiences still get to enjoy most of the Bollywood flicks, “Bollywood films not releasing there is an unfortunate thing to happen. But how much ever you try to stop a film, somehow it will make its way to Pakistan. The audiences eventually do get to see it, either through a DVD or through some other source.”

The actor however agrees that films not releasing in Pakistan is a loss for the celebs and cinema world, “The loss economically hurts the person who is in this business. I understand there are censorship laws in every country, but do they really reflect accurately? This will always remain a question. There are some wonderful Bollywood films that are still playing in Pakistan but unfortunately some get banned,” adds Fawad Khan.

Apparently, Bollywood’s latest woman-centric film ‘Neerja’ never reached the review table of Pakistan censor board, as it was banned even before that.
