‘Meri Pyaari Bindu’ and ‘Sarkar 3’ hit the screens last Friday and experienced a dull weekend at the Bollywood Box Office. Ayushmann Khurrana and Parineeti Chopra’s love story in ‘Meri Pyaari Bindu’ managed to pull in fewer audiences than expected and raked in Rs 1.75 crore on Friday, 2.25 crore on Saturday and Rs 2.50 crore on Sunday, recording a total collection of just Rs 6.50 crore over the three days of its release. Amitabh Bachchan’s political drama ‘Sarkar 3’ too was a disappointing affair at the Box Office. Directed by Ram Gopal Varma, ‘Sarkar 3’ collected Rs 2.10 crore on Friday, Rs 2.25 crore on Saturday and Rs 2.50 crore on Sunday, making a total of Rs 6.85 crore only despite having big celebs and cinema world stars.
