Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor-starrer ‘Stree’ is unstoppable at the box office, raking in over Rs 50 crore in six days as its collection. The horror-comedy made Rs 9.70 crore on Monday, 6.37 crore on Tuesday and another Rs 6.55 crore on Wednesday, marking a total collection of Rs 54.89 crore at the Bollywood box office. ‘Stree’ is made on a budget of Rs 20 crore and is enjoying a magical run at the ticket windows, having already recovered its investments from the sale of various rights. Although the film may not have the biggest of celebs and cinema stars to boast about, according to the trade buzz, ‘Stree’ has made massive profits for its makers, who are already planning multiple sequels to the film.

‘Stree’ had clashed with ‘Yamla Pagla Deewana Phir Se’ at the box office, which couldn’t do well in most circuits. With over Rs 50 crore as just the box office collection and still counting, apart from the sale of other rights like satellite, internet, digital, music and more, Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao-starrer ‘Stree’ is on the way to create history for the content-based films in Bollywood. ‘Stree’ is directed by Amar Kaushik and is jointly produced by Raj Nidimoru, Krishna DK and Dinesh Vijan, who are laughing all the way to their banks after the film is declared a hit at the box office.
