After last night’s Parda Phaash task, the housemates wake up dancing to the tunes of ‘Tum Toh Dhokebaaz Ho’. Pulling a fast one on Om Swami, Monalisa and Manu try to get close to each other just to irritate him. And, adding fuel to the fire, Manveer says, “Yeh Bhartiya Parampara Ke Khilaaf hain”. Looking at Mona and Manu’s intimacy, Swami feels uncomfortable and walks off. Post the merger of Indiawale and Celebrities, Bigg Boss announces the captaincy task called ‘Siyasat’ in order to elect the first captain of the house. According to the task, the first three contestants to go inside confession room post the announcement will compete for the position of the captain. Making their way into the confession room first and nominating themselves for the captaincy task are Bani, Manu and Om Swami. Feeling a little restless, Manveer tells Mona that he desperately wanted to become the captain of the house and regrets not making it to the confession room in time.

Later in the day, when Gaurav gives his share of chocolate to Mona, she thanks him for his sweet gesture and tries to hug him. Gaurav however, gives her a cheek-to-cheek air kiss stating that her ‘special someone’ inside the house will not like him hugging her. Noticing Gaurav and Mona’s proximity, Manu questions Mona jokingly on why was she flirting with Gaurav. But when Mona narrates the entire incident to him, it brings a smile on his face.

As the day progresses, Bigg Boss introduces the captaincy task, where the three contenders Manu, Swami and Bani have to pose as leaders of three different political parties and win votes of the contestants. In one or more ways they have to convince their fellow housemates to join their party by wearing a garland of their party’s signature colour. While Bani is team orange and Manu is team white, Swamiji is allotted the colour red. Bani, Manu and Swamiji also have the power to punish any contestant by putting him/her in jail for breaking rules.  Even before the commencement of the task, Swami announces that he wants to put Mona and Manveer in the jail so that Manu will lose the task. Others object Swamiji’s decision by considering it invalid. While Bani is trying to convince Lokesh to join her party, she tells her that she likes her very much but she can’t leave Swamiji now as he will feel bad. Lokesh also adds that she will think about Bani’s proposal and take a decision. At the same time, Navin tries to convince Swamiji to team up with Manu and make a coalition party for a stronger support. Furthermore, Bani decides to break the ice and apologize to Lopa to win her support. But Lopa terms Bani’s apology as mere strategy and refuses to go on to her side. Soon after, she wears white garland in support of Manu.

Furthermore, Manu gets into a scuffle with Nitibha after she changes sides and becomes Bani’s supporter. With Lokesh and Nitibha leaving his team, Om Swami gets a little paranoid and starts plotting against them along with Manu and says that he would want to send them to jail. With nobody left in his team, Swami gets insecure and tells Bani that he will be teaming up with her now. Spilling the beans about Swamiji’s plan, Manveer tells everybody that some time back he wanted to send Lokesh and Nitbha to jail and now he is sitting around and chit-chatting with them. When Lopa comes in support of Manveer, Swami tells her to stop lying. Confused and irritated, Lokesh warns Swamiji to not target her unnecessarily and punish her for no reason. With politics taking a toll on the contestants, who among Bani, Manoj and Om Swami will emerge as the first captain of the Bigg Boss house?
