Bhumi Pednekar is busy promoting her next release, ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’, which she claims has a powerful message for the audiences. “‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’ is a ‘prem katha’. It is a love story between two simple and sweet characters. You won’t even realise how, through their love story, an important message is given out. I have a feeling that the film will bring about a massive change in our society. ‘Toilet’ will encourage a lot of women to not settle for anything less in their marriage, and to fight for their rights,” said Bhumi at a recent event. ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’ stars Akshay Kumar opposite Bhumi and the movie promotes the message of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, bringing to fore the necessity of toilets in every home.
