Sanjay Leela Bhansali has been busy working on the biopic of Sahir Ludhianvi, to be titled ‘Gustakhiyan’. Speculations were that the filmmaker, who is producing the Bollywood project, was planning to cast one of the A-list celeb and cinema world actresses like Kareena Kapoor Khan, Priyanka Chopra or Deepika Padukone. While none of these actresses have been finalised, one-film-old Bhumi Pednekar may well have bagged this Bollywood movie. Buzz suggests that Jasmeet Reen, who will be directing ‘Gustakhiyan’, is keen to cast Bhumi and they have also had a meeting for the same. Earlier, Irrfan Khan was cast in the role of the noted poet Sahir Ludhianvi, but a while ago he moved out of the project. ‘Gustakhiyan’ will talk about Sahir Ludhianvi’s relationship with writer Amrita Pritam, possibly to be played by Bhumi Pednekar. An official announcement about the cast is awaited.
