Here’s why Sultan can be a huge hit before its release!

Expected to earn nothing less than Rs 300 crore as its lifetime collection, many experts are already declaring ‘Sultan’ a hit even before its release, thanks to advance bookings, satellite rights and other channels of sale

Salman Khan, Anushka Sharma starrer ‘Sultan’ has already created a huge buzz, plus the film is banking on the Eid release. A huge number of advance bookings have been done for this wrestler movie, with about 40 percent of multiplexes having sold their first day tickets. Trade buzz is that ‘Sultan’ will mark a big opening at the Bollywood Box Office and enter a lifetime total of Rs 300 crore, terming the celebs and cinema stars-laden a hit movie.

Produced by Yash Raj Films, ‘Sultan’ will release on 4,000 screens across India and 1,100 screens overseas. The cost of production of the film was Rs 70 crore, with an additional expenditure of Rs 20 crore on PR, publicity and promotions. With a total budget of Rs 90 crore, ‘Sultan’ has apparently recovered a huge amount through the sale of satellite rights to Sony Entertainment Television. With many channels of sale opening up, ‘Sultan’ is another Bollywood biggie which is expected to break some big records at the Box Office and declared a hit already.

‘Sultan’ leaked online?
If reports are to be believed then Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma starrer ‘Sultan’ has been leaked online. Apparently, the production house Yash Raj Films has denied any such leak but the 2 hour 36 minutes movie is available on several sites. For now, no formal complaint has been registered with the Cyber Crime Cell regarding the piracy of ‘Sultan’.
