India’s celebrated musician, AR Rahman bagged two Academy Awards for ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ back in 2009. This much-loved artist reveals how life has changed after receiving one of the most prestigious awards, “Life after the Oscars is the most difficult one. Before, it was simpler for me to make a choice with a couple of doors open but now every door is open. I can be a pop artist, Hollywood composer or even be a film producer; but which one to choose? I am human and have limited energy. That has become my problem since the past few years.”

For a while, the musician had shifted base to the USA and could do almost anything there, right from shopping with kids to walking into a mall without all the paparazzi following him or his family. “The last four to five years were something that I have never experienced before. I was partly living in Los Angeles where I could do everything with my family. I was being a very good father, husband and a son,” concludes AR Rahman.
