After quitting Bollywood, movie star Twinkle Khanna has often found herself amidst some controversy or the other. The ex-Bollywood actress recently shared a joke about spiritual guru Sri Sri Ravi Shankar on the Microblogging site Twitter, which didn’t go down well with his disciples. Twinkle wrote, “Sri Sri got his nobel foot and half his beard stuck in his mouth in a yogic pose that Baba Ramdev perfected a while ago.”
The International Director of the Art of Living Foundation, Darshak Hathi replied to Twinkle’s tweet as, “Millions of followers are going to boycott ‘Housefull 3’ for hurting the sentiments by inappropriate and ill intended comments of Twinkle Khanna on Sri Sri.” While Twinkle Khanna did delete her tweet and apologised, Akshay Kumar’s upcoming film ‘Housefull 3’ may be caught in a soup.

‘Housefull 3’ is a multi-starrer with Akshay Kumar playing one of the leads. Busy with the promotions of the Bollywood movie, when the actor was recently asked if the collections of the film will be affected by Twinkle Khanna’s controversy, he chose to simply say, “There is nothing like that. Let’s move ahead.”
Not the one to take things lying down generally, it seems like the otherwise outspoken Akshay Kumar has decided to steer clear of the controversy this time around. Ironically, Shah Rukh Khan too had suffered the wrath of the audience, following his statements on alleged intolerance, as a section of people had given a call to boycott his film ‘Dilwale’. The SRK movie suffered at the Bollywood ticket windows. Akshay Kumar seems to have chosen the wise way out for ‘Housefull 3’!
