Alleged ex-lovers Salman Khan and Aiswharya Rai Bachchan are set for a big box office clash next year! Salman Khan-starrer thriller franchise ‘Race 3’ is set to release during Eid 2018, whose shooting was kick-started yesterday at a studio in Mumbai. Releasing on the same day will be Salman’s ex-flame, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan-starrer ‘Fanney Khan’. The makers of ‘Fanney Khan’ confirmed Eid 2018 as their release date, setting the pace for one of the biggest Bollywood clashes of 2018. It will not just be a box office fight between Salman and Ash but also a face-off between the couple who was once in love on who does well. ‘Race 3’ stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Daisy Shah, Bobby Deol and Saqib Salem while Aishwarya’s musical journey of ‘Fanney Khan’ stars Anil Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao and Divya Dutta. Thus, both the Bollywood films are full of celebs and cinema stars.
Interestingly, Eid releases are strongly associated with Salman Khan who has churned out several hits on the lucky date. ‘Wanted’, ‘Dabangg’, ‘Sultan’ and ‘Bajragi Bhaijaan’ stand testimony to this. Hence it remains to be seen whether Aishwarya Rai-starrer will bow out of this big box office clash against Salman or they take each other head on. Although the release date of Bollywood films is strictly a business call taken by producers and companies behind the movies, more often than not top notch celebs and cinema stars do interfere and get them changed.
