Zaheer Khan, Sagarika Ghatge get engaged in Goa

Zaheer Khan and Sagarika Ghatge is yet another example of a cricketer and a Bollywood celebrity falling in love with each other. Zaheer Khan and Sagarika Ghatge took social media by storm as they announced their engagement last evening. Going by Sagarika’s Instagram posts, the ‘Chak De! India’ actress was in Goa when Zaheer popped a big ring to her. Announcing their relationship, Zaheer stated, “Never laugh at your wife’s choices. You are one of them! Partners for life. #Engaged,” while the Bollywood actress repeated, “Partners for life! #Engaged.” The duo also shared pictures from their special evening. Hilariously, on Twitter, Anil Kumble and Delhi Daredevils’ official handle congratulated journalist, author and mother of two kids Sagarika Ghose on the engagement! The goof-up was soon deleted. Last year, during Yuvraj Singh and Hazel Keech’s wedding, Zaheer Khan and Sagarika Ghatge made an appearance together but refrained from commenting on their relationship status. The wedding date for Zaheer Khan and Sagarika Ghatge is still not announced but is expected soon.

Interestingly, on the side-lines of Zaheer Khan-Sagarika Ghatge engagement, another cricket and Bollywood couple – Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have been dropping hints about their relationship, from holidaying together to making hand-in-hand appearances. Recently, Virat refused to chop down his envious beard because it turned out that Anushka Sharma didn’t want him to as she had commented a strong “you cannot” on his post on social media. Guess it’s time that Anushka and Virat too tale a cue from Zaheer-Sagarika and announce their wedding plans!
