Why Rajkumar Hirani is reshooting Sanjay Dutt biopic
Director Rajkumar Hirani is allegedly unhappy with the way the Sanjay Dutt biopic has turned out and hence will reshoot some portions with the film’s lead, Ranbir Kapoor

Sanjay Dutt biopic, starring Ranbir Kapoor, promises to give a no-holds-barred sneak-peek into the life of the former, but it seems like the final product is not what it set out to be. According to industry buzz, director Rajkumar Hirani is not very happy with the way the yet untitled film has shaped up. Allegedly, several important events of Sanjay Dutt’s life are being left out. Hence the director is apparently planning to reshoot several sequences with Ranbir and introduce some real life drama on reel. The film, which also features Sonam Kapoor and Anushka Sharma, is set to hit the screens in June 2018.
