It was definitely not a piece of cake for Bollywood hunk John Abraham to master all the moves he did in ‘Rocky Handsome’. But what’s more intriguing is the action with knives that we get to see in the trailer. “I went off to Thailand for a little less than a month to take training in action, especially the one with knives. The knives are blunt so they really hurt. I remember when I was going for the shower in the evening, the body would be all black and blue,” says John.
The actor is happy with the end result that has been achieved in ‘Rocky Handsome’, “It all paid off. We wanted to stick to realism in the film. My director gave me a brief and said that the action has to be of a certain calibre and we have achieved that with this film. It is not Kung Fu or Karate, but real action.”
‘Rocky Handsome’ is an action thriller, directed by Nishikant Kamat, and is set for release on March 25.
