Deepika Padukone may be making her way to success in Bollywood as well as Hollywood, but her first director Farah Khan has something different to say about the actress. Farah Khan had cast Deepika Padukone opposite Shah Rukh Khan in 2007 Bollywood release, ‘Om Shanti Om’.
Sharing her experience, the filmmaker says, “Deepika was rather raw and just looked beautiful. She had a very expressive face but her dialogue delivery was very bad. She had a very Karnataka accent. That was a problem so we had to dub a lot of her scenes. Otherwise it sounded very bad. But now she has modulated her voice very well. It’s the most difficult thing to do, to change the way you speak.” After her magic spell in Bollywood, Deepika Padukone is currently shooting for her Hollywood debut ‘xXx: Return of Xander Cage’.
