Bollywood actress Asin Thottumkal has tied the knot with Micromax co-founder Rahul Sharma in a Christian wedding today. The guest list included a few close family members and relatives.
Asin also married Rahul Sharma as per the Hindu rituals in the evening at a lavish resort in Delhi. Best Man Akshay Kumar attended the marriage of his close buddy in high spirits as the actor took time out amidst his busy schedule of promoting his next film ‘Airlift’. It must be noted that Akki had played cupid to bring this lovely couple together.
According to Hindustan Times, a makeshift church was created in the hotel for the white wedding, while a ‘mandap’ on a water body was decorated for the Hindu rituals. All the marriage ceremonies will be followed by a private house party next day at Rahul’s farmhouse in the capital.
Asin and Rahul will later throw a grand reception in Mumbai on Saturday, January 23, which is expected to see the who’s who of Bollywood and southern film industry. It may also be graced by the business circuit keeping in mind Rahul’s backdrop.
