Kangana Ranaut gave rather explosive interviews after receiving the National Award in Delhi this week. The Bollywood actress shut all critics and a certain ex-boyfriend for openly talking about her private life and relationships.

After her such outspoken ways, Kangana Ranaut has won the heart of the fellow Bollywood actress, Vidya Balan. “I admire Kangana a lot because she is standing up for herself. And I think that is very creditable. As a woman, we find it very easy to stand up for other people, family members, children, for our husbands and parents. But we rarely stand up for ourself. Kudos to her and more power to Kangana for that,” said Vidya Balan, who received the National Award in 2013. While it was Vidya in recent times who defined women-centric cinema with films like ‘The Dirty Picture’ and ‘Kahaani’, it was Kangana Ranaut who successfully took the trend ahead with her movies like ‘Queen’ and ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’.

For those joining us late, Kangana, probably for the time in the history of TV interviews in India, used hard-hitting words slut, whore, psychopath and spoke about women’s periods so openly. So far the Bollywood actress didn’t get any support for being so much in news, Vidya Balan has now come out in the open to talk in Kangana’s favour.
