Varun Dhawan was to work with father David Dhawan for the No 1 series since long and finally this venture is all set to hit the floors. Reports suggest that the Dhawan duo will be working on an adaptation of Govind-starrer ‘Coolie No 1’. Varun is currently busy shooting for the dance film ‘Street Dancer’, directed by choreographer-turned-director Remo D’Souza. The project kickstarted last month in Punjab and the team will soon be travelling to London for a 40-day schedule. However, the ‘Student of The Year’ star will be juggling the shoot between ‘Street Dancer’ and his untitled No 1 series film with David Dhawan.
Apart from the ‘Coolie No 1’ adaptation, Varun Dhawan has a busy schedule ahead, with the promotions of Karan Johar’s multi-starrer ‘Kalank’ coming up in April. The actor is also planning to shoot a high-octane action thriller with Shashank Khaitan, which he would want to begin by the end of this year. Despite many films in his fold as of now, Varun is expected to make space for his home production No 1 series.
