Karan Johar has given Bollywood some of the most interesting love stories. So when Marathi hit ‘Sairat’ was up for grabs, the filmmaker was soon to bag this love story’s remake rights. If buzz is to be believed then Karan Johar’s team has already started writing the script for ‘Sairat’s’ remake in Hindi and one of Dharma Productions’ directors will be roped in for the job. KJo will apparently be co-producing ‘Sairat’ remake with Zee, which is the original owner of the movie. The Hindi remake of ‘Sairat’ will go on floors in 2017. By then, Karan Johar may have decided on a glamorous ‘jodi’ for the love story. ‘Sairat’ is one of the highest grossing Marathi films and received rave reviews from the audience and the critics alike. ‘Sairat’ is reportedly being made in Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam, apart from Bollywood.
