Always the one to speak her mind, Twinkle Khanna has often been the target of Internet trolls on social networking websites. Reacting strongly to trolls, the actress-turned-writer-producer says, “They come along and they do that to everybody. People who take trolls seriously, I’d rather say they are foolish. Trolls are like cockroaches. Once in a while you spray Hit (cockroach repellent) on them, they scamper away and you go on.” Twinkle goes on to add that she does consider criticism healthy, but will not listen to just anyone, “I do look at criticism and examine it carefully as sometimes it is valid and it always tells me about the world around me. But I am not going to listen to somebody who can’t even spell my name, I really don’t care what they say!”
