On the occasion of International Tiger Day today, Bollywood actor Tiger Shorff has sent a letter to Environment Minister Anil Dave, leading the way. Tiger Shroff has urged him, along with PETA India, to ensure that the government focuses on protecting tigers in their natural homes. Paving the way, Tiger writes, “I know environmental issues are important to you, as they are to me. I join my friends at People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) India in hoping that under your leadership, we will see the government focus its conservation efforts. This is towards protecting India’s remaining forests and bringing in additional measures to safeguard tigers and other animals in our precious jungles.” In the past, Tiger Shroff has expressed his support to save the tiger by adopting a tigress in a zoo.

Tiger Shroff further states that the place where tigers really need protection is in their natural habitats. That’s where the tigers have ample space to roam around, spend time with their families, and engage in other natural behaviours. And Tiger Shroff’s leading the prowl to save the tiger on the International Tiger Day will be successful.
