Being infected with Hepatitis B himself, the ‘Sholay’ actor says that he has already experienced health scare. “Hepatitis B hit me accidentally. After the accident on the sets of ‘Coolie’, I was infused with the blood from about 200 donors, and 60 bottles of blood were injected into my system. In 2000, through my family doctor, a rampant test I went through detected that I had indeed been infected by Hepatitis B and 75 percent of my liver was damaged. I now stand here with just 25 percent of my liver, which in medical terms means that I am a patient of acute cirrhosis of liver,” shares Bachchan.
