Since a long time now, director Sudhir Mishra has been out of the limelight, not announcing any big Bollywood movie at the box office. The filmmaker recently revealed that he has been working on the script of a sequel to his 2005 hit ‘Hazaaron Khawaishein Aisi’. The movie was set against the backdrop of the Emergency situation in the country and starred Chitrangada Singh, Shiney Ahuja and Kay Kay Menon in the lead roles. Sudhir Mishra has the backing of producer Pritish Nandy as he pens the sequel to ‘Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi’ and the filmmaker is also hopeful that singer-lyricist Swanand Kirkire and music director Shantanu Moitra will once again create some more chartbusters for the film. Not known to be working with too big celebs and cinema world stars, Sudhir Mishra’s last silver screen outing was Arjun Rampal, Chitrangada Singh starrer ‘Inkaar’. The ‘Chameli’ director has been working on ‘Daas Dev’, which will be an antithesis of the legendary novel Devdas.
