Sonakshi Sinha’s journalistic drama ‘Noor’, which hit the screens last week, fared below average at the Box Office. The film collected only Rs 1.25 crore on its opening day. Marking a slight growth in numbers over the weekend, ‘Noor’ collected Rs 1.60 crore on Saturday and Rs 1.75 crore on Sunday, ending up with a total of Rs 4.60 crore at the end of its first weekend at the Box Office. Reportedly, a few shows were even cancelled on Saturday and Sunday due to which the weekend total didn’t reach even Rs 5 crore. With so much non-occupancy, buzz suggests that ‘Noor’ may end up with a lifetime total of just Rs 10 crore at most, terming it as flop by the critics. ‘Noor’ has only this week to scale up its numbers. Come Friday and the much awaited ‘Baahubali 2: The Conclusion’ will release, changing the Box Office game for ‘Noor’ drastically.
