Kangana Ranaut and Vidya Balan are taking up female-centric movies since some time now. And Sonakshi Sinha too is following in their footsteps. Wanting to be a part of the trend of being in women-centric cinema, Sonakshi will soon be seen playing a journalist in ‘Noor’ after doing an action packed film like ‘Akira’. “Women-centric cinema is a great trend that has started and a lot of people are making films keeping women protagonists in mind. It is great for our heroines today and I am very happy to be a part of that change in Hindi cinema,” says Sonakshi. The Bollywood actress has already shot for ‘Noor’ in which she plays the title role. The movie will trace Sonakshi’s misadventures as a journalist and will hit the screens in April 2017.
